Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet care to ensure spotless surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas by sanitizing surfaces and disposing of waste properly.
- Conduct detailed custodial tasks such as window washing, dusting, trash removal, and surface disinfecting to uphold hygiene standards.
- Operate cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and industrial cleaning tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks like light repairs or reporting issues related to plumbing, lighting, or structural concerns.
- Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Support special projects such as residential painting or industrial cleaning jobs as needed to meet facility requirements.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and commercial cleaning methods.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or troubleshooting equipment issues.
