Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner on construction sites or similar environments. This role is essential in supporting our operations and ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and skid steers
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure safe operation
- Follow site safety regulations and company procedures at all times
- Load and unload materials, move earth or other materials, and assist with site preparation
- Communicate effectively with foremen, supervisors, and other team members
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly
- Assist with general labor tasks as needed when equipment operation is not required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Proven experience as an equipment operator or similar role
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required
- Certification to operate specific equipment is a plus (e.g., OSHA, NCCCO)
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
