  • Coordinate all structural elements within the firm’s BIM (Revit-based) environment
  • Collaborate in multi-disciplinary coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts with architectural and MEP teams
  • Partner with architects during early design phases to determine structural systems, bay spacing, floor-to-floor heights, and lateral system strategies
  • Prepare and maintain structural specifications across applicable divisions
  • Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs during construction administration
  • Coordinate with geotechnical consultants on soil conditions and foundation recommendations
  • Conduct site visits to observe structural installations and ensure adherence to design intent
  • Review special inspection reports and confirm compliance with construction documents
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including proposals and client presentations where structural expertise adds value
  • Establish and standardize structural details, specifications, and internal best practices as the engineering function grows

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering (or related discipline) required
  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred
  • SE licensure is a plus, particularly for complex or high-risk institutional projects
  • 7 years of structural engineering experience across commercial, institutional, and/or healthcare projects

  • Strong working knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards
  • Healthcare and/or institutional project experience strongly preferred
