About the Role: As a Senior Director at S&P Dow Jones Indices, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategies that drive our commercial success. The Team: The S&P Dow Jones Indices Finance, Strategy and Operations team comprises 25 professionals across multiple countries. This division supports commercial activities across all our products and strategic partnerships.

- Commercial & Business Partnership: Serve as a strategic partner to the Chief Commercial Officer, providing financial insights and support to drive commercial success.
- Operational Planning & Divisional Target Setting: Lead the operational planning process across the organization, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.
- Revenue Management & Analysis: Develop and implement strategies for revenue management, ensuring optimization of ACV (Annual Contract Value) and revenue recognition growth.
- Generative AI Models: Spearhead initiatives to integrate Generative AI technologies into financial processes, focusing on model training to enhance decision-making and predictive analytics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business goals and drive innovation through advanced analytics.
- Decision Support & Ad Hoc Reporting: Provide decision support to senior leadership through detailed financial analysis and reporting, including the development of ad hoc reports to meet evolving business needs.
- Strategic Leadership: Report directly to the Division CFO, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the finance function and shaping financial strategies that drive growth and operational efficiency.

- Progressive Tools & Technologies: Advocate for the use of advanced tools and platforms, including Salesforce, Anaplan, Alteryx, Tableau, and Oracle, to enhance financial operations. What We’re Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required; an MBA or CPA/Chartered Accountant designation is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in finance, with a focus on revenue management, operational planning, and commercial finance.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- A strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated results in transformation and efficiency in finance through innovative approaches, including the use of Generative AI technologies.
- Proficiency in Alteryx for data analytics and process automation.
