Mobility Global is establishing a centralized and controlled global intercompany accounting function to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely settlement across all legal entities. We are seeking a strategic and operationally disciplined Associate Director of Intercompany Accounting & Global Settlements to lead all intercompany transaction governance, reconciliation, elimination, and settlement processes across the enterprise.
This role will design and own the global intercompany framework — including policy, transfer pricing alignment, multi-currency settlement processes, elimination accuracy, and SOX-compliant controls.

We are seeking a strategic and operationally disciplined Associate Director of Intercompany Accounting & Global Settlements to lead all intercompany transaction governance, reconciliation, elimination, and settlement processes across the enterprise.
This role will design and own the global intercompany framework — including policy, transfer pricing alignment, multi-currency settlement processes, elimination accuracy, and SOX-compliant controls.
Core Responsibilities
Global Intercompany Framework Ownership
- Establish and maintain the company’s global intercompany accounting policy and governance structure.
- Oversee all intercompany transactions across legal entities, including:
- Management fees
- Shared services allocations
- Cost recharges
- Cross-border product/service transfers
- Intercompany loans and interest
- Equity transactions and capital movements
- Ensure consistent treatment across regions and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- In alignment with Treasury, will design and oversee centralized intercompany settlement and netting accounting processes.
- Manage monthly and quarterly intercompany true-ups.
- Ensure timely and accurate settlement across multi-currency environments.
- Oversee FX impact monitoring and reconciliation.
- Drive standardization of intercompany invoicing and payment protocols.
- Coordinate with Treasury on cash management and funding implications.
- Ensure timely intercompany reconciliations prior to monthly close.
- Eliminate intercompany balances and transactions accurately during consolidation.
- Resolve out-of-balance conditions proactively.
- Partner with global controllership teams to reduce intercompany aging and disputes.
- Support accurate segment and entity-level reporting.
- In tandem with Tax and Treasury, establish standalone intercompany structure.
- Oversee accounting and settlement of Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs).
- Implement permanent intercompany frameworks replacing inherited processes.
- Align intercompany accounting with transfer pricing policies in coordination with Tax.
- Design and maintain SOX-compliant controls over intercompany transactions and eliminations.
- Ensure documentation of reconciliation processes and settlement approvals.
- Partner with SOX and Internal Audit teams on control testing and remediation.
- Minimize manual journal entries through system automation and standard workflows.
- Drive ERP and consolidation system configuration to support automated intercompany matching and elimination.
- Implement standardized intercompany coding and chart of accounts structure.
- Reduce reconciliation cycle time and eliminate recurring disputes.
- Evaluate intercompany automation tools where appropriate.
- Partner closely with:
- Tax (transfer pricing and documentation)
- Treasury (settlement and funding flows)
- Regional Controllers
- FP&A (entity-level reporting alignment)
- Technical Accounting (complex intercompany arrangements)
- Serve as enterprise escalation point for intercompany disputes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience in a publicly traded company ($1B revenue) required.
- Significant experience managing complex multi-entity intercompany environments.
- Experience with global operations and multi-currency settlements.
- Strong knowledge of:
- U.S. GAAP consolidation principles
- Intercompany eliminations
- Foreign currency translation
- Transfer pricing coordination
- ERP experience (Oracle, SAP) strongly preferred.
- Highly organized and process-oriented.
- Strong cross-functional communicator capable of influencing global stakeholders.
- Detail-focused but able to operate strategically.
- Comfortable managing complexity in high-growth environments.
- Strong governance mindset appropriate for public company standards.
