Responsibilities
- Administer botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on treatment options, potential risks, and post-procedure care.
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during and after procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and best practices in aesthetic medicine.
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure required.
- Experience administering injections is essential; familiarity with IV Drip treatments is a plus.
- Background in critical care, emergency medicine, or acute care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment techniques is crucial.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks is advantageous.
- Previous experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial.
