About The Role:
- Project Leadership & Management - Lead and manage Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection projects of varying scales, overseeing all phases including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Field & Technical Support - Support field activities to ensure project and client needs are met effectively and in alignment with technical standards.
- Client Engagement & Service - Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and maintain strong communication to ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Supervision & Development - Supervise and mentor a team of professionals and field staff in client development and project management, providing ongoing guidance and training.
- Client Base & Market Growth - Develop and maintain a local client base and professional network capable of generating revenue that meets financial and growth objectives.
- Business Development & Marketing - Support local business development and marketing initiatives to strengthen market presence and broaden opportunities.
- Proposals & Cost Estimating - Generate and review field and laboratory cost estimates and proposals in accordance with project plans, International Building Code (IBC) requirements, and client requests for proposals.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or a similar engineering field
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in construction materials testing and special inspection
- An Engineering Certification (EIT) and on track to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the future
- Experience or desire to lead and manage projects
- A track record of business and technical writing success
- The ability to travel to project sites and collaborate in the field as needed
