Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial/Stocking team member to maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized environment across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing cleaning duties, stocking supplies, and ensuring that all areas meet high standards of sanitation and safety. Your proactive approach will contribute to a positive experience for both staff and visitors, supporting the overall efficiency and cleanliness of our operations. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, common areas, and workspaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and sanitation tools.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures for storage, mixing, and disposal to ensure a secure environment.
• Stock shelves, supply closets, and work areas with necessary items like cleaning supplies, paper products, and other materials to maintain inventory levels.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when moving supplies or equipment, adhering to proper lifting practices to prevent injury.
• Maintain facilities by performing routine custodial tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitation of surfaces.
• Use cleaning equipment effectively to buff floors or perform industrial cleaning tasks that require specialized tools.
• Support general maintenance activities as needed to uphold safety protocols and ensure the facility remains in optimal condition.

Requirements

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus.
• Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning agents is essential.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary.
• Experience with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers or industrial vacuums is advantageous.
• Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and adhere to all safety guidelines during daily tasks.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift in a fast-paced environment.
