Duties
- Perform TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on aluminum and other metals following detailed blueprints and schematics.
- Execute MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) for various fabrication tasks, ensuring strong, high-quality welds.

- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints specific to marine and aluminum fabrication projects.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe benders and rollers, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and sheet metal tools to shape and assemble components accurately.
- Operate rigging equipment, forklifts, and other mechanical tools safely to move heavy materials and assemblies.
- Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure precise fabrication standards are met.
- Follow ASME codes & standards for welding procedures and safety protocols during all phases of fabrication and assembly.
Requirements
- Proven construction site experience with a focus on welding or metal fabrication.
- Demonstrated expertise in TIG welding, aluminum welding, and
welding techniques. - Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and machining tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and apply welding procedures accordingly.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
