SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The E-Commerce Director, reporting into the Vice President of E-Commerce & Brand Marketing, drives the E-Commerce business by overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from the product development stage to content creation and maintenance (imagery/copy/video, etc.), inventory planning, item setup (syndication and template setups), and consumer generated content. The E-Commerce Director manages projects cross-functionally with internal teams such as Sales, Demand Planning, Creative Services, Design, and Merchandising to create, maintain, and amplify product content to maximize click-thru and conversion. Reports to Vice President, E-Commerce & Brand Marketing. Collaborates with Senior Manager, Key Accounts and is assisted by E-Commerce Manager.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Oversee product content of 3,000 SKU catalog utilizing Salsify, our PXM platform
· Develop strategies to educate consumers, drive click-thru, and maximize conversion
· Supervise new launch item setups (syndication and/or template based) for retailer partners
· Direct digital marketing and promotional strategy for omnichannel accounts
· Plan content audit strategy of retailer partner websites to ensure product copy, imagery, and all other relevant information is displaying properly on retail partner websites
· Garner CGC (consumer-generated content) via partnership with Bazaarvoice and other sampling initiatives
PROBLEM SOLVING & DECISION MAKING:
· Oversee product content and digital assets
-Spearhead creation of product content (copy, digital assets, specs, etc.)
-Develop strategy for maintenance of existing content
· Supervise retail partner item setup
-Upload and maintain items in GXS and Intertrade catalogs
-Setup items in retail PLM systems
· Manage consumer generated content
-Propose CGC strategy for each launch
-Develop strategy for leveraging ratings & reviews to gain insights
· Delegate tasks and projects to E-Commerce Manager and conduct training as needed
· Collaborate with Senior E-Commerce Manager on pureplay e-commerce accounts, and Sales team on omnichannel accounts
· Initiate projects with managers and colleagues with flexibility and responsiveness, in person and via digital communications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
· 10 years of experience in CPG E-Commerce, minimum of 5 years experience B2B2C digital merchandising (retailer side or brand side)
· In-depth knowledge of major retailer or e-tailer PIM/PCM systems and vendor portals (Amazon Vendor Central, Wayfair Partner Home, Walmart Supplier Center, Target POL, Kohls K-Link, etc.)
· Experience with E-commerce content management system(s) (Salsify, Syndigo, Webcollage, etc.)
· Project management experience
· Experience managing direct reports
· Consumer generated content management experience (Bazaarvoice, Power Reviews)
· Marketplace experience a plus (Target Plus, Walmart Marketplace, Amazon Seller Central)
· Home Decor category experience a plus
· Bachelor’s degree
· Ability to prioritize tasks and execute autonomously with attention to detail and good follow-through skills.
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written / verbal)
· Tech savvy, strong experience in MS Excel
· Ability to work with efficiency and focus in a friendly, fast-paced environment

Pay: $140,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
