What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Designer position at S L A M Collaborative Inc?
The S/L/A/M Collaborative is seeking an Interior Designer with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our office in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in managing all phases of interiors projects, including project set-up, design, and consultant/vendor coordination
- Continuously collaborate with P-I-C and/or internal team members
- Develop and express concepts accurately and rapidly to meet deadlines
- Maintain positive communications with colleagues, clients and consultants
- Attend client meetings in-house and at client sites
- Contribute to the growth, development, and success of the Atlanta office
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working as an interior designer
- Corporate project experience strongly preferred
- Experience with the architectural design process and integration of interior design, including programming, planning, research, design development, construction documents, and overall project execution
- Working knowledge of FF&E, furniture systems, color and material selections, and specifications
- Experience with Revit required plus knowledge of Photoshop, Enscape, InDesign, Sketch-up and/or 3-D Studio Max a plus
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an effective team
- Self-starter, responsible, organized, highly motivated, and detail orientated
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design
- NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer or in the pursuit thereof
