Role Description The Business Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kapolei, HI. The Business Manager will oversee day-to-day business operations, including sales planning, inventory oversight, and coordination with internal teams and external partners in the military and civilian retail channels. This role will analyze sales performance, develop forecasts, manage budgets, and support the execution of promotional and merchandising strategies. The Business Manager will work closely with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to optimize product distribution, ensure service quality, and support long-term account growth. The position also involves preparing reports, monitoring compliance with company policies, and contributing to process improvements across the operation.
Qualifications
- Experience in business operations, account management, or sales management, preferably within consumer products, retail, or distribution environments.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets, budgeting, forecasting, and sales performance analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities to collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with business software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar productivity suites; experience with ERP or inventory systems is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with military resale channels or government-related accounts is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work on-site in Kapolei, HI, and occasionally travel to customer or vendor locations as business needs require.
