Role Description
The Customs Broker Entry Writer will be responsible for preparing and processing customs documentation for imported and exported goods in compliance with regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include liaising with clients, verifying shipment details, ensuring proper classification of goods, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Valley Stream, NY, requiring close coordination with both internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in Customs Brokerage processes, including preparing and filing required documentation.
- Proficiency in Import and Export procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Strong knowledge of International Trade practices and logistics operations.
- Customer Service skills to communicate effectively and manage client relationships.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
