Duties
- Prepare a variety of deli items, including slicing meats, cheeses, and assembling sandwiches according to standard recipes.
- Assist customers with their food orders, offering suggestions and upselling products to enhance their experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and manage cash handling responsibilities.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation and ensure quick service during busy hours.
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages or equipment issues promptly.
- Paid vacation after 1 year.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, deli work, or quick service restaurant environments is preferred.
- Strong skills in food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations to maintain a clean work environment.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Good math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell products and provide friendly assistance.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
