Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid position for a QuickBooks Account Manager, based in Thousand Oaks, CA, with flexibility for remote work. The Account Manager will oversee clients' financial records, manage reports, and ensure the seamless use of QuickBooks to support daily business operations. Responsibilities include handling general bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, generating financial statements, managing payroll and taxes, and assisting with budgeting and accounts payable/receivable. The role includes regular client communication to address business concerns and ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, general bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation
- Experience with payroll management, payroll taxes, and quarterly/annual returns
- Strong capabilities in accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Ability to assist with budgeting, debt reduction, and financial planning
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Familiarity with retirement plans, insurance, and financial compliance is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor or CPA) are advantageous
- Prior experience in a similar role is required
