Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machining equipment to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in Manual machining, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in delivering high-quality parts efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate Lathes , Mills ,Saws
- Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and tooling adjustments for optimal machining performance while adhering to safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machinist with strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, technical drawings
- Experience with welding, and assembly is a plus.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, confidently.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to machining dimensions and tolerances.
- Knowledge of tooling selection, setup procedures, and hand tools for machining tasks.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently
