As a Sheetmetal Helper with S.I. Goldman Company, your essential responsibilities are to:
- Set up and organize tools, equipment, and materials needed for sheetmetal fabrication tasks.
- Assist in the movement, lifting, and positioning of sheetmetal materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Aid in the assembly of sheetmetal parts, including aligning, fitting and fastening components under the guidance of the Sheetmetal Mechanics.
- Provide support during the installation of fabricated sheetmetal components, including holding materials in place, adjusting fittings, and securing fasteners.
- Follow safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training or coursework in sheetmetal fabrication is a plus but not required).
- One (1) to three (3) years of sheetmetal experience in construction/industrial environment preferred.
- Knowledge of trade-related tools.
- Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and measurements to support accurate fabrication tasks.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Salary : $16 - $22
