Apartment Maintenance roving technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Apartment Maintenance Roving Technician to join our team! In this energetic role, you will work both as part of a team and independently. This isn't your normal maintenance work.! The roving team performs project work, as well as other duties, as needed, at 7 different properties in the mid-cities area so flexibility to adjust to different properties and situations is important.

Responsibilities

• Perform full AC changeouts regularly, replace AC ductwork, carpentry, in-depth plumbing, tub and shower wall replacement, irrigation work, electrical work, minor concrete, roof repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and electrical systems.
• Repair plumbing systems including underground piping.
• Troubleshoot, repair and replacements of water heaters.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs or maintenance tasks with precision and safety.
• Respond promptly to resident service requests with professionalism and a focus on customer satisfaction while maintaining safety protocols.
• Proven experience in residential or facilities maintenance with a strong background in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, carpentry, welding, and mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment repair, building interior maintenance, plumbing system maintenance and repair, as well as facilities equipment upkeep.
• Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including troubleshooting and repair.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently but also as a team.
• Valid driver’s license required for roving responsibilities; physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor required.
• Must live within 20 minutes of the property you'll be covering call on or be willing to relocate.

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
