Automotive Parts Advisor

Job Overview
The Internal Used Car Parts Advisor is responsible for managing and distributing used car parts within S&H Auto Group. This role ensures smooth operations across all locations by efficiently handling internal parts requests and maintaining accurate inventory records. The advisor plays a crucial role in supporting our commitment to providing affordable options for all budgets and contributing to a "Simple and Hassle-Free" experience for both our team and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and fulfill internal parts requests from service and sales departments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to ensure availability.
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts shipments.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely delivery of parts for vehicle repairs.
• Process and track warranty claims for defective parts.
• Utilize inventory management software to track parts usage and availability.
• Ensure the parts department is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing efficient parts distribution processes.
• Support the onboarding and training of new team members in parts operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive training or certification is a plus.
• Experience in a parts department or automotive service environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to lift and move heavy parts.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
