Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician and Landscape Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation systems using a variety of hand tools and power tools
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions
- Adjust watering schedules and system settings based on seasonal needs and landscape requirements
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, and weed control
- Operate equipment including excavators and other construction machinery for system installation or repair projects
- Apply horticultural principles to promote healthy plant growth and landscape aesthetics
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, system adjustments, and maintenance schedules
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems and landscaping equipment
- Familiarity with irrigation components, lawn care practices, and landscape maintenance techniques
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of horticulture principles related to plant health and landscape design
- Experience with excavation work using equipment such as excavators is a plus
- Strong understanding of landscaping best practices and general construction procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues and executing repairs
