Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including buildings, perimeter fences, and parking areas to identify potential security risks.
- Manage access control systems to verify identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance equipment continuously to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by following established emergency response procedures.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, accidents, or violations observed during shifts.
- Perform background checks on new employees or visitors as part of security clearance processes.
- Assist in conflict de-escalation and manage difficult situations with professionalism and calmness.
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and conducting visual inspections.
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and familiarity with security regulations.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Proficiency in incident report writing with clear documentation practices.
- Experience in emergency response procedures such as CPR, AED operation, first aid, and fire safety protocols.
- Skilled in conflict management, conflict de-escalation techniques, and customer service excellence.
- Competence in using access control systems and performing background checks for security clearance purposes.
