Archer Meat Snacks—the #1 jerky brand in the Natural and Specialty Channel—is looking for a seasoned FSQA Supervisor to join our Vernon team. This is a pivotal opportunity for a hands-on food safety and quality professional who thrives in fast-paced operations and leads with both expertise and heart.
In this role, you will play a critical part in upholding and advancing our food safety and quality standards. You’ll work closely with the Director of FSQA and lead our Quality Assurance team to ensure regulatory compliance, certification readiness, and product integrity while shaping a strong food safety culture from the ground up.
What You’ll Own & Impact:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of FSQA Leads and Technicians
- Ensuring execution of HACCP, HARPC/FSMA, SQF, and other GFSI programs
- Overseeing plant inspections, testing, verification, pre-shipment reviews, and audits
- Partnering cross-functionally on R&D initiatives, innovation rollouts, and label compliance
- Owning the resolution process for customer complaints and non-conformances
- Driving FSQA training programs and promoting best practices plant-wide
- Measuring and reporting on key FSQA KPIs to inform continuous improvement
What Sets You Apart:
- 4 years in an FSQA Supervisor or Lead role within USDA/FDA-regulated facilities
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing QA teams
- Expert-level knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, GFSI (SQF/BRC), and regulatory standards
- Current certifications in HACCP and/or PCQI required
- Deep familiarity with Organic, Gluten Free, Non-GMO, and related certification programs
- Skilled in root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement tools (Kaizen, 5S, PDCA)
- Strong communicator with SOP development and multi-project leadership experience
- B.S. in Food Science, Microbiology, or related discipline preferred

Location & Schedule:
This is an on-site leadership role based in Vernon, CA. Flexibility to support off-shift or weekend operations as needed is expected.
