Responsibilities
- Supervise all bar operations, ensuring smooth service during shifts and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
- Lead staff training and development, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on delivering outstanding customer service
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Oversee food preparation and beverage presentation to ensure consistency and adherence to safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and oversee food handling procedures in the bar area
- Coordinate shift schedules, supervise staff performance, and assist in interviewing potential team members
Requirements
- Proven experience managing bars or restaurants with a focus on food service management and team supervision
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and beverage service within casual dining or fine dining environments
- Demonstrated skills in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management in a hospitality setting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
- Supervising experience in fast-paced environments such as quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable
- Leadership qualities with experience in staff training, development, and performance management
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and hospitality regulations
