What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Equipmen Technician and Packer position at S&D Technology LLC?
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of laboratory instruments and equipment
- Assist with installation, testing, and preventive maintenance of instruments
- Properly package laboratory equipment for shipment according to company standards
- Handle, organize, and move equipment and related components as needed
- Complete other tasks assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or above
- Strong hands-on skills with mechanical aptitude
- Excellent learning ability and willingness to acquire new technical skills
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and a team player
- Ability to perform physical work and safely lift up to 40 lbs
- Prior experience in equipment repair or packaging is a plus (training provided for the right candidate)
