2nd Shift Warehouse Forklift Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. Duties

• Safely operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, move, and store materials within the warehouse.
• Perform order picking using various equipment including pickers to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper materials handling, storage, and documentation within the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Conduct routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to ensure optimal operation of all machinery.
• Support warehouse management by organizing stock locations, performing cycle counts, and ensuring compliance with safety standards such as OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow processes and improve overall warehouse distribution efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic repair skills for equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
• Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload activities, and long periods of standing or walking.
• Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, or warehouse distribution is highly desirable.
