What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Batch Plant Maintenance Technician position at S.D.I.?

We are currently accepting applications for a Concrete Batch Plant Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and receptive to direction, with experience in plumbing, mechanical and electrical work.
GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:
- Expected to stay until plant is fixed in any breakdown scenarios.
- Skilled in welding and fabrication.
- Knowledge of conveyor belt and systems
- Knowledge of basic electrical wiring and motors
- Knowledge of water systems, hot and cold
- Knowledge of working on air lines, solenoids, etc.
- Basic understanding of concrete products and processes
- Willing to work in tight spots and not afraid of heights.
- Willing to work on Saturdays as needed
- Willing to learn how to batch and operate the plant in emergency situations.
- Willing to learn how to operate a bucket loader
- Willing to do whatever it takes in all aspects of the company to help the team succeed.
- Takes direction and guidance well from co-workers and supervisors.
- Valid Driver’s License
