What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Fabrication Technician - Concord, NC position at S&D Coffee?
The Maintenance Fabrication Technician works with other Facilities, Maintenance and Engineering team members to rig/install equipment, design/fabricate parts, and specify/select materials for fabrication/installation.
This role is critical in managing and executing parts fabrication and repairs in an efficient manner.
Job Duties:
* Analyzing specification charts, samples, and drawings to gain a thorough understanding of requirements.
* Measuring and marking materials to develop a layout / template to manufacture parts.
* Develops/executes a plan for equipment installation and communicates impacts to operations.
* Setting up equipment required to complete each step of the parts rebuild /modification or repairs.
* Participating in root cause analysis of failed parts together with other personnel on site
* Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of consumables, parts and tools needed to fully operate workshop.
* Operating and servicing maintenance shop equipment, keep up to date maintenance logs, inspections, and other information.
* Inspecting finished parts for flaws and defects
* Maintain equipment in the Maintenance Shop.
* Design machine part replacements and recommend design improvements for implementation.
