S. Clyde Weaver is looking for a Retail Associate to support our store on the Lititz Pike in Lancaster.
This position is a part-time position with 3-4 shifts per week, with a minimum 15 hours per week with the opportunity for additional hours when available, if interested. Free lunch on workdays!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and wait on customers promptly and courteously.
- Ensure that customers receive the best customer service by providing a friendly, polite and knowledgeable service.
- Ensure the products are fresh, ready, and available.
- Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food.
- Clean and maintain all assigned areas throughout shift.
- Work individually and with the team, to surpass expectations in an efficient, motivated and positive, can-do manner.
- Adhere to safe food handling procedures.
- Opening or closing procedures.
- Follow all food safety and health procedures.
- Accurate use of cash register & POS system.
- Engage in cross-training opportunities.
- Complete assigned duties, checklists and other tasks as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of retail and/or food service experience desired
- Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Reliable and punctual
