Compensation

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $36,990 - $46,230.00. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Join Our Team as a Telephone Operator - Receptionist!

This position performs administrative support by answering and directing incoming calls, greeting visitors at the reception desk, and various other clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating telephone switchboards in the company lobbies to answer and direct incoming calls and placing outgoing calls.
• Assisting internal and external callers with call routing by identifying proper extensions and directing calls.
• Welcoming and directing visitors by identifying visitor needs.
• Contacting receiving host(s).
• Following proper log-in and log-out protocols.
• Preparing and maintaining the Visitor Board.
• Maintaining and issuing headsets/receivers and transmitters for planned visits when requested.
• Maintaining a safe and clean reception area.
• Opening and securing the lobby area at the start and end of the assigned shift.
• Assisting the Office Services group which may include receiving incoming packages, delivering and picking up mail, etc.
• Cross-training on mailroom tasks

What you'll Need To Succeed:

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent
• Exceptional oral communication skills.
• The ability to come across in a professional manner.
• Basic computer knowledge to send and answer email, check telephone directory and prepare correspondence.
• Good telephone etiquette and ability to respond to routine telephone inquiries.
• Less than one year of experience operating a switchboard and working in an office setting handling multiple tasks in an environment where interruptions occur regularly

Preferred:

• Bilingual in Spanish
