S&C Body Shop & Auto Repair is looking for an experienced Automotive Paint Buffer & Detailer to join our team that has experience in paint correction.

Job description:
- Buff fresh paint from the body shop.
- Performing specific duties as requested: wet sand to remove scratches, buff dull areas, removing water spots, paint imperfections, trash, fisheyes.
- Must know texture matching, de-nibbing and finesse
- Applying compounds, wax, and protective coatings
- Wet-sanding and smoothing
- Inspecting vehicle surfaces for defects before and after polishing
- Maintaining polishing equipment and materials
- Wash and detail interior and exterior of vehicle to shop standards
- Assist in any additional tasks that is needed around the shop
Requirements:
- Must have 2 years of vehicle buffing experience working in a body shop
- Preferred having 1 years of vehicle washing and detailing of vehicles
- Must know how to use buffers and polishing machines
- Have experience buffing out trash, fisheyes, and scratches, paint correction
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 40 pounds.
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently check ins and outs of vehicles
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday.
Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Pay: $20/hr
M-F 8am-6pm
