Job Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a Class A Commercial Truck Driver
- Ability to operate manual transmission.
- Attention to detail.
- Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding routes and responsibilities.
- Transporting construction and/or demolition debris to and from various locations.
- Transport equipment and machinery to job sites.
- Verifying the types of materials being transported and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions.
- Ensuring that the materials are loaded correctly onto the trailer.
- Perform a thorough vehicle inspection prior to start of shift.
- Promptly reporting any accidents, injuries or mechanical faults to management.
- Maintaining accurate driver logs.
- Complying with all safety rules and regulations.
