Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocker and Cashier to join our team. The Stocker will be responsible for stocking shelves, managing inventory, and supporting the overall operations of the store or warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Stock shelves with products in an organized manner to ensure easy access for customers.
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as necessary.
- Assist with shipping and receiving of merchandise, ensuring accurate counts and quality checks.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and updates.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations and customer satisfaction.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of stock areas to promote safety and organization.
- Provide assistance to customers when needed, offering product knowledge and support.
- Operate forklifts or other equipment safely (if certified) to move larger items or pallets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or grocery store setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for effective communication with diverse customers.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is desirable; certification may be required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate stock records.
- Basic understanding of retail math for inventory tracking and management.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
