Math Tutor – Assistant Director Track

S.A.M Singapore Math is hiring a motivated tutor who is interested in growing into an Assistant Center Director (AD) role. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with kids, has strong math skills, and wants to develop into a leadership role in education.

Start as a Tutor — Grow into a Leader

You’ll begin by working directly with students (K–8) as a tutor to develop a deep understanding of the S.A.M program. After 3–6 months, based on performance, training, and initiative, you’ll be promoted to Assistant Director, with added responsibilities in operations and team support.

Tutor Responsibilities (Initial Phase):

• Coach students in small groups using the S.A.M Singapore Math method
• Guide students through problem-solving, logic, and critical thinking
• Learn and master the curriculum and teaching framework
• Collaborate with other tutors and center director
• Provide a fun, positive, interactive learning experience

Assistant Director Responsibilities (Post-Promotion):

• Engage and partner with parents via phone, email, and in-person
• Manage students and tutors scheduling
• Monitor teaching quality and support tutor training
• Lead the study material/worksheet preparation
• Maintain classroom organization and center operation readiness
• Guide prospective families through the enrollment process

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
