Construction Laborer
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to support various aspects of building and renovation projects. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople and performing a variety of manual tasks to ensure the successful completion of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn different construction techniques, including carpentry, sheetrock installation, painting, framing, flooring, siding, and gutter work.
Responsibilities
- Assist with carpentry tasks such as framing and other structural work.
- Support sheetrock installation and finishing to prepare walls and ceilings for painting or finishing.
- Help with painting projects by preparing surfaces and applying paint or finishes as directed.
- Participate in flooring installation, including preparation and laying of various flooring materials.
- Assist with siding installation to improve building exterior appearance and durability.
- Support gutter installation and maintenance to ensure proper drainage systems.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment.
- Operate hand tools and basic equipment under supervision.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Perform general site cleanup and organization to maintain a safe and efficient work area.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, sheetrock, painting, framing, flooring, siding, and gutter work is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
