Appliance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Appliance Technician to join our dynamic field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive prompt, reliable service and exceptional support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration knowledge while providing top-tier customer service. You will also be involved in delivering appliances when necessary, ensuring a seamless experience from installation to repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes efficiently.
• Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and electrical components with precision and care.
• Utilize electrical experience to troubleshoot wiring problems and component failures accurately.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to guide repairs and installations effectively.
• Conduct appliance assembly and installation at customer locations, ensuring proper setup and safety compliance.
• Assist with delivery of appliances using a box truck or similar vehicle, ensuring safe handling and timely delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and answering customer questions professionally.
• Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, parts used, and follow-up actions required.
• Keep tools and equipment in optimal condition; perform routine maintenance on service vehicles as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with a strong background in mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
• Previous field service experience working directly with customers in their homes or businesses.
• Delivery driver experience using a box truck or similar vehicle is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment repair, assembly processes, and electrical troubleshooting is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
