What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Administrator I position at rz-tech-web-services-llc?
Assist in managing projects that include hardware and software installations, upgrades, and modifications through clear communication skills and good technical guidance.
Identify and communicate issues or potential problems to the IT Team and help to develop solutions.
Patch Management - regularly perform patch deployment to keep computers, phones, etc. up to date.
Assist in creating and the maintenance of contingency plan to ensure continuity of operations in the event of unexpected interruptions in computer operations.
Review user accounts, access logs, and maintenance reports to assure compliance.
Create and maintain user accounts and assigns appropriate permissions to services and data access.
Create and maintain documentation of all hardware, software, and IT resources.
Ensure network security.
Install and configure network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.
Implement, maintain, monitor and document server infrastructure ,Windows Active Directory
Implement, maintain, monitor and document network switches, routers, wireless equipment and firewalls
Maintain and document virtual LAN configurations, create and implement new VLANs as necessary
Maintain, enforce and test network access policies and procedures, create and implement procedures accordingly
Maintain, enforce and test password policy to ensure compliance
Maintain, enforce and test firewall/VPN policies and procedures, create and implement procedures accordingly
Provide support to the business units by working with off-site vendors when related equipment is located on-site
