RYZE at the Ridge is seeking a motivated, creative, and compassionate Activity Director to lead the planning and execution of engaging programs that enhance our residents' quality of life. The Activity Director is responsible for creating a positive and engaging environment where residents can thrive socially, mentally, emotionally, and physically.
ResponsibilitiesPlan, organize, and oversee individual and group activities based on residents' interests, abilities, and needs.
Develop and maintain monthly and weekly activity calendars.
Lead and supervise activity staff, aides, and volunteers.
Encourage consistent resident engagement and participation in activities.
Maintain accurate activity documentation, attendance records, and resident assessments.
Coordinate special events, community outings, entertainment, and holiday programs.
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social services, and other interdisciplinary team members to support residents' overall well-being.
Manage activity department supplies, inventory, and budget as assigned.
Ensure activity programs comply with applicable state and federal regulations and facility policies.
Maintain safe, organized, and engaging activity spaces.
Evaluate resident participation and adjust programs to meet changing resident needs.
Perform other duties as assigned by facility leadership.

Certified Activity Director required.
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Recreation Therapy or a related field preferred.
Previous experience leading activities in a healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting required.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and lead creative, meaningful, and engaging resident programs.
Compassionate, energetic, and resident-focused approach.
Ability to work effectively with residents, families, staff, volunteers, and interdisciplinary team members.
