Location: Houston, Texas (100% Onsite)
Industry: Energy / Power Generation
Experience Required: 10 Years

Step into a high-impact leadership role where you’ll define and drive the end-to-end software & control architecture for advanced power generation systems, working on mission-critical industrial solutions.
- Define and own system-wide software & controls architecture
- Lead architecture across subsystems (engine/turbine, alternator, SCR, auxiliary systems)
- Design state-based control systems (START, RUN, FAULT, STOP, etc.)
- Define communication interfaces, data models, and system workflows
- Architect HMI concepts, operator workflows, and alarm systems
- Establish fail-safe mechanisms and communication-loss detection
- Define data logging, fault history, and system performance tracking
- Guide engineering teams and act as a technical escalation point
- 10 years in industrial control systems / power generation software
- Strong expertise in PLC-based control systems & supervisory HMI
- Experience in state-based control, fault management, and safety-critical systems
- Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and work with vendors
- Strong system architecture and problem-solving skills
- Experience with engine, gas turbine, or generator control systems
- Exposure to SCR / emissions control systems
- Experience in distributed supervisory systems & remote monitoring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls, Computer Engineering, or related field
