Salary: $170/day plus Bonuses to start, after training and probation periods, with an opportunity for up to $200/day with FedEx delivery experience, exceptional performance/safety/attendance and tenure. training pay $135/day, Probation period pay $150/day.
Responsibilities:
As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in our company's success by ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely and efficiently operate a company-provided delivery vehicle (typically a cargo van or truck) to transport packages from the Manitowoc terminal to residential and commercial locations majorly in or around Fond Du Lac and the surrounding areas including Malone, Eden and Oakfield.
- Plan and organize delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries while optimizing efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they are securely loaded and unloaded to prevent damage.
- Utilize scanning technology and electronic devices to track and record delivery information.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the delivery vehicle.
- Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Lift up to 150 pounds with hand trunk/forklift or physically lift up to 50 Lbs boxes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and mapping applications.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience in package delivery or a related field is preferred.
