Lab Associate, Overnight Shift (M-F)

Rythm Health is seeking a Laboratory Associate for its overnight shift to support day-to-day laboratory operations. The required work schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a regulated clinical laboratory environment. This role involves data entry, sample accessioning, and processing in accordance with established procedures.

• Accurately receive, accession, and track incoming specimens using laboratory information systems (LIS).
• Verify specimen integrity, labeling accuracy, and documentation compliance.
• Aliquot and prepare blood samples according to established protocols.
• Enter, review, and maintain accurate electronic laboratory records.
• Adhere to CLIA/CAP-compliant SOPs, laboratory safety requirements, and quality assurance procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory workspace.
• Communicate specimen status and promptly escalate issues to the Lab Supervisor.
• Support additional laboratory tasks as needed to meet operational demands.
• *Work Schedule: Overnight shift required. Typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, with flexibility based on operational needs.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in biology, chemistry, medical laboratory science, or a related field.
• Comfortable working with computer software, LIS, and clinical lab equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to handle blood specimens in a laboratory setting.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
