IOP Therapist (Independent/Fully Licensed & Associate License Welcome!)

Responsibilities:

  • Encourage and utilize individual and family strengths and capabilities.
  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy, which address the needs of the client within the context of the individual's home and community.
  • Develop initial psychosocial assessments, problems lists, and treatment plans.
  • Maintaining paperwork in accordance with state and federal laws and credentialing.
  • Therapists also participate in consultations with a team of psychiatrists and psychologists twice a month.
  • Work within a transdisciplinary team to provide care
  • Engage in program development

Essential Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
  • Counselor with the Washington State Department of Health (DOH). Full licensure or Associate license in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy is appropriate.
  • Acceptance and ability to work with individuals and families with a variety of lifestyles, behaviors, cultural and spiritual practices with the ability to apply a social justice and equity lens to all aspects of this work.

Ryther has a Intensive Outpatient Program focused on serving adolescents with intensive behavioral health needs. The mental health therapist will engage in program development, provide individual and family therapy, as well as develop and facilitate therapeutic groups. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a clinically rich, client focused program. You'll work within a transdisciplinary team to provide care.

Whether your license is associate level or fully independent, we have a place for you! Depending on your licensure status, and experience, your salary would be $69,000 - $84,000 plus a $500 per month paperwork bonus (with an increase for groups, language skills, having an SUDP/T, and managerial positions). This position requires running groups 9 hours a week (3 hours/3 days), individual and family therapy, collaborating with peers, conducting intake assessments, and is required to work on campus at least 3 days a week.
