Looking for an experience , dedicated, proactive, and hardworking pharmacy technician with minimum 2 years experience who will work with the pharmacist to ensure patient safety and health.
Must be knowledgeable and be able to perform a variety of tasks, including:
- Preparing medications: Measuring, mixing, counting, and labeling medications according to prescriptions
- Dispensing medications: Locating, dispensing, and packing medications for patients
- Collecting information: Gathering information from customers or health professionals to fill prescriptions
- Processing insurance: Processing insurance claims and accepting payment for prescriptions
- Maintaining records: Maintaining patient medication profiles and records of prepackaged drugs
- Organizing inventory: Organizing inventory and alerting pharmacists to shortages
- Providing customer service: Answering phone calls and arranging for customers to speak with pharmacists
- Assisting with administrative tasks: Tracking inventory, filing paperwork, and entering patient information into a computer system .
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
