As a Restoration Contents Technician at Rytech Restoration of The Midlands, your day begins at 7:30 AM at our bustling warehouse where you prepare for the challenges ahead. After a daily briefing, you’ll load your vehicle with essential packing materials and equipment, gearing up for an exciting day of hands-on work. Whether you're travelling across South Carolina and Georgia or meeting with homeowners to assess the damage from water, fire, each day offers a unique adventure. Your meticulous attention to detail will shine as you pack, inventory, and restore items while documenting every step in our advanced systems. In the afternoon, you’ll experience the gratifying moment of returning restored items to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and peace of mind.

While some emergency scenarios may require evening or weekend responses, rest assured that all travel and overnight stays are fully covered, making every moment not just a job, but a meaningful journey!

To thrive as a Restoration Contents Technician at Rytech Restoration of The Midlands, you'll need a diverse set of skills to navigate the fast-paced environment of disaster recovery. A valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record are crucial for safely operating company vehicles during local and statewide travel. Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills will empower you to effectively pack, inventory, and document items.

In addition, your ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team will enhance your customer interactions and overall service quality. Proficiency in customer service and communication is vital for addressing client concerns during stressful situations. You’ll need basic cleaning and handling skills, along with comfort using tablets for inventory management, as training on Encircle software will be provided.

Being reliable, punctual, and adaptable will ensure you're ready to tackle any job site, while your physical capability to lift 50 lbs and maintain a basic safety awareness will keep you and the team safe on every assignment.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Valid driver’s license with an approved MVR; able to safely operate company vehicles for local and statewide travel.
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Basic cleaning, packing and handling skills
• Comfortable using an iPad or learning inventory software (MICA training provided)
• Reliable, punctual and adaptable to travel or changing job sites
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet
• Basic safety awareness and willingness to use PPE (training provided)
