Key Responsibilities
🔹 Product Ownership (Strategic Focus)
- Define ecommerce product vision and roadmap.
- Prioritize product backlog based on business impact and ROI.
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Own customer journey improvements (product discovery → checkout → post-purchase).
- Define KPIs such as:
- Conversion rate
- Cart abandonment rate
- AOV (Average Order Value)
- Customer retention
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and requirement discovery sessions.
- Lead full ecommerce lifecycle (Discovery → Development → UAT → Go-Live → Hypercare).
- Plan sprint cycles, releases, and deployment schedules.
- Manage scope, timelines, risks, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Developers, QA, UI/UX, DevOps).
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security compliance.
Strong understanding of:
- Shopify / Shopify Plus
- Magento / Adobe Commerce
- WooCommerce
- Custom PHP / .NET ecommerce platforms
- Payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal)
- ERP (SAP, D365, etc.)
- CRM systems
- Logistics & shipping APIs
- Third-party marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Business.
- 7 years of IT experience with 3–5 years in ecommerce project management.
- Proven experience in Product Ownership (backlog management & roadmap planning).
- Strong technical understanding of APIs, databases, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment (JIRA/DevOps).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
