Job Functions:
- Completes checklists and documentation related to water treatment operations, water softener, and compressed air systems.
- Performs preventive maintenance on a timely basis.
- Completes repairs to wastewater treatment equipment, water softener equipment and compressed air equipment as assigned.
- Completes repairs to fire protection system components as assigned.
- Responsible for proper documentation and record keeping.
- Supports “on-call” status as assigned among all technicians.
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Assists Building & Grounds department with tasks and duties when available.
- Assists with special assignments during plant shut down periods.
Education and Experience:
- Maintain forklift and high lift license.
- 1 years relevant experience preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic skills in WWT, mechanical, and electrical trades.
- Basic electric and plumbing knowledge preferred.
- Ability to complete assessment test upon hire.
- Willingness to learn.
Pay: $19.00 - $27.00/hr (depending on experience level). $27.00 - $35.00/hr for Journeyman Card Holders (Apprenticeship Programs available and funded through Ryobi).
Salary : $19 - $27
