Heavy Equipment Operator
Full-Time
Compensation: Up to $90,000.00 per year
Pay range based on experience
This Position is based in Minocqua, WI
Rynders Inc is in search of career-minded employees to fill Heavy Equipment Operator positions. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a heavy equipment operator. A valid CDL Class A and experience with GPS Technology for excavation/construction sites are preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience and familiarity with excavators, dozers, skid steers, loaders, and aggregate equipment. The candidate should also be eager to learn, precise, consistent, quality-oriented, and motivated. Winter hours are available in various positions with various duties.
This position has the potential for a successful candidate to advance into a Field Coordinator position.
The candidate should work well with others in a team environment and be able to work alone when required. Must be able to prioritize and shift focus as needs change.

Roles and Responsibilities:
· Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner on various surfaces such as dirt and aggregates
· Understand equipment and their uses
· Operate equipment and maintain personal safety in accordance with Company, FMCSA, MSHA, and OSHA policy guidelines
· Stay informed of all applicable rules and regulations and operates within those rules and regulations.
· Perform daily inspections on equipment for operation and safety and keep equipment in optimal operating condition.
· Responsible for preventative maintenance on equipment including fluid checks and proper lubrication.
· Reports to shop when equipment needs repair and perform or assist in repair work
· Be involved with the company safety expectations and programs
· Maintain orderliness and cleanliness at jobsite and in shop areas.
· Use sound judgement when setting up equipment on job sites that may be dangerous for the operator, equipment, and other personnel.
· Accurately process paperwork daily, electronic or hand-written with proper procedures
· Fulfill duties of position and any other tasks within their abilities as assigned by the Field Coordinator/management
· Primary position as Heavy Equipment Operator will require work from April 1st to December 15th, up to six days per week. Will require working long hours and some Saturdays. Winter work opportunities are available with varied duties and hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license is required. A CDL with 1 year experience is preferred
- Experience with GPS Technology for excavation/construction sites preferred
- MSHA New Miner Certificate and recent refresher preferred
- Equipment operating experience in driveway installation, building site pads, demolition, lot clearing, and stump removal is highly preferred
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening to be hired
- Must have reliable transportation and show up for work on time, every day
- Be capable of operating computerized equipment
- Must have a smartphone for company related information
- Be able to work in construction or other job site environment which can include traffic, heat, cold, rain, dirt, and dust.
- Be able to walk, sit, climb, bend, kneel, reach, grasp, and lift and carry up to 75 pounds
