What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate/Warehouse Worker position at Rymax?
We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to work in our corporate headquarters in Morris County, New Jersey.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee the shipping and receiving of products to and from customers.
- Receive Purchase Orders, picking/packing materials for shipment.
- Assemble customer orders from stock, place them on pallets and conveys order to packing stations.
- Load/unload materials and products as they are received and shipped.
- Ensure all shipments are packaged accurately and efficiently.
- Perform quality control by inspecting goods for defects and damage.
- Work with Customer Service and Inventory teams to resolve and correct order discrepancies.
- Ensure the accuracy, safe keeping, and timely movement of inventory and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Handle returns and restocking.
- Use RF scanners and internal systems to maintain an accurate and up-to-date log of daily activity and inventory/products.
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse space.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and multitask.
- Previous warehouse/ pick-pack experience.
- Experience with RF scanners.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
