Rye Beach Pharmacy, a leading independent pharmacy in Westchester, is looking for a Pharmacy Technician. We offer a different work environment than the chains. Our team is much larger and been together for awhile.

We are a busy store with lots of energy that needs a candidate who can multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude. Our staff is over 45 employees and looking for a technician that wants to work in a pleasant work environment with a manageable schedule.

Experience
Previous retail pharmacy experience is PREFERRED.
Previous billing experience to drug insurance companies is PREFERRED.
Strong communication skills over the phone and face to face are NECESSARY.
Strong Math skills are NECESSARY
Computer Skills
Experience with our pharmacy dispensing software, PioneerRx, is a plus.
Basic computer knowledge is NECESSARY
Schedule
Monday-Friday schedule
9 - 5:30 for three weekdays and 11 - 7 for two weekdays.
One Saturday every 8 weeks is part of the rotating schedule we all share. (on that Saturday it is 8:30 - 2:30).
If only looking for part-time we may be able to accommodate.
