## Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. Busy GM Dealer looking for an experienced Technician to join our team. We have a busy shop with lots of opportunities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automotive repair, including diesel engines and GM vehicles, with a strong mechanical background. Evaluate and diagnose all makes and models. Good attention to detail and productivity.
## Duties
- Perform a wide range of automotive repairs including engine, transmission, and brake systems
- Conduct diagnostics to identify vehicle issues and propose solutions
- Repair and maintain diesel engines, automotive electrical systems, and auto body components
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly
## Requirements
-Smog license required
- Proven experience in automotive repair, preferably in a dealership setting
- Proficiency in working with diesel engines, GM vehicles, and various automotive systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance practices for all makes and models
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks
