Opportunity
Rycore is seeking a highly motivated individual to play a key role within the asset management and investments team. This individual will get exposure to a broad array of acquisition and finance opportunities. This role will also assist the asset management of office, industrial, retail and medical properties across the U.S. This is a growth opportunity for the right person.
Major Responsibilities:
· Assist with Investment underwriting, financial analysis, due diligence, market analysis, engaging with brokers, owners, local market experts, site inspections, reviewing third party due diligence reports, preparing and vetting renovation budgets and business plans
· Assist with acquisition due diligence
· Market, economic and demographic research to evaluate markets and the competitive set of properties for potential investments.
· Organizing and analyzing our market sales and lease compensation data.
· Deal sourcing via cold calling and reaching out to owners.
· Preparation of verbal and written presentations to the investment committee
· Compile financial reporting in compliance with lender and investor requirements.
· Review monthly property level accounting statements and work with the internal accounting staff.
· Assist with the preparation and review of property level business plans and budgets
· Assist with the sales process of designated assets, including engaging brokers, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and managing due diligence for closings
· Helping to establish and grow new and existing brokerage and strategic relationships
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a concentration in Finance, Real Estate, or Business Administration
· Ideal candidate will 1-3 years of experience working in real estate private equity, advisory, finance or real estate development
· Strong quantitative and analytical skills with advanced Excel skills preferred
· Proficient in PowerPoint and MS Suite preferred
· Argus software experience preferred
· Team player who works well with others and is organized, proactive and can work in a self-directed manner
· Desires responsibility and is willing to accept accountability
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
